Payment Terms & Conditions

These payment terms apply to all services provided by Kate Ryan-Taylor of KM & SF Ryan-Taylor (trading as Ready Set Love). By booking me, you agree to these payment conditions in addition to the Celebrant Terms & Conditions.

Payment Types

We accept the following payment types:

• Cash
• Credit Card
• Debit Card
• Afterpay (please advise if you wish to use this option, as it must be enabled manually through Square)

Booking Fee (Deposit)

• A non-refundable booking fee is required to secure your ceremony date.
• No date is confirmed until this fee has been received.
• The booking fee is not transferable to another date unless agreed in writing.

Balance Payment

• The remaining balance of your invoice is due by the date specified in your invoice / contract (usually well before the ceremony).
• Late payment may result in the ceremony not proceeding until funds are cleared.

Financial Difficulties

• If you’re experiencing financial difficulties, please reach out before it becomes an issue.
• We can set up an alternative payment arrangement to ease the stress.
• Any variation to payment terms must be made in writing and signed by both parties before it takes effect.

Cancellations & Refunds

• Booking fees (deposits) are non-refundable.
• If you cancel within 6 weeks of the booked ceremony date, the full fee remains payable.
• If you cancel earlier than 6 weeks out, only the balance portion (if paid) may be refundable, at my discretion.

Debt Collection

• If your account remains unpaid despite reminders, it may be referred to a debt collection agency.
• You agree to be liable for all costs associated with recovery of the debt, including agency fees, administrative costs, and any legal or court expenses.
• To avoid this, please get in touch to arrange a payment plan if you’re struggling — I’d much rather help than chase.

CRM & Client Portal

• All agreed payment terms and schedules will be visible in your Dubsado CRM client portal.
• Any changes to your payment plan or schedule must be approved by me, and once confirmed, will be updated within Dubsado.
• The client portal is your “source of truth” for payments, invoices, and agreements.

Payments via Square

• We use Square (squareup) for all payments.
• By default, Square allows payments via credit card, debit card, or direct bank transfer.
• If you wish to use Afterpay, please let me know in advance, as this setting must be enabled manually.
• All transaction records are available on your Dubsado portal for transparency.

Methods of Payment

• Payment instructions will be provided on your invoice.
• Please use the invoice number and/or your names as the payment reference.

• All invoices are issued under KM & SF Ryan-Taylor (trading as Ready Set Love).

• Prices quoted are inclusive of GST where applicable.
