Fun, friendly and affordable weddings & ceremony anywhere in Western Australia!

Have you ever wondered about Wedding Expos?

Are you a fan of wedding expos?

If you’ve never been to one (or you’ve been to one and thought, “That was a lot”), let me reassure you: a good wedding expo is not about pressure. It’s about options, inspiration, and getting answers—fast.

And for me personally, it’s one of the best ways to meet you face-to-face, so you can “see my vibe”, ask the questions you’ve been quietly Googling at 11pm, and work out whether I’m the right celebrant (and MC) for your day—without any awkward hard sell.

On Sunday 18 January 2026, 9:00am–3:00pm, I’ll be at the Wedding & Bride Expo at Claremont Showground. Wedding And Bride Bridal Expo

It’s known as Perth’s largest wedding expo, with 150+ exhibitors under one roof.

And because I know how busy (and exciting) expo day gets, I’ll be running a couple of expo-only offers that you won’t see anywhere else.

For couples: why a wedding expo is actually worth it

A wedding expo is basically a real-life shortcut for wedding planning. Instead of endless scrolling, 47 browser tabs, and trying to judge a vendor’s “vibe” through a tiny Instagram highlight—you can walk in and see what’s out there in one day.

A wedding expo is a great opportunity to:

  • Suss out different vendors in one place (celebrants, venues, photographers, florals, styling, cakes, entertainment, you name it).
  • See the range of what’s available without spending weeks messaging people back and forth.
  • See things in person—because photos are helpful, but real-life is better (especially for styling, signage, flowers, gowns, and “what does this actually look like?” moments).
  • Ask the questions you don’t know how to ask yet (timelines, legalities, what happens if it rains, how long a ceremony should be, what “MC” actually involves, and what you do if you don’t like public speaking).

And here’s the big one: you can have relaxed conversations without committing to anything on the spot. You can browse, compare, take notes, and come back for a second chat once you’ve had a lap and a deep breath.

For vendors: why we love expos too

From the vendor side, expos are where the magic shifts from “a nice website” to “oh yep, these are my people.”

This is our chance to let our personality and brand shine—because weddings are personal, and the person you choose matters.

Expos let you:

  • Meet us in person (and work out if we’re the calm, fun, organised energy you want beside you on the day).
  • Ask anything—even the questions you think might be silly (they’re not).
  • Get clarity fast—pricing, inclusions, availability, and what the process looks like.
  • Access expo-only opportunities that vendors hold back specifically for couples who make the effort to attend.

And genuinely? I love the face-to-face chats. It’s where I get to hear your story, your plans, and what you actually want your ceremony to feel like.

Come see me at the Wedding & Bride Expo – Sunday 18 January

The Wedding & Bride Expo runs Sunday 18 January 2026, 9am–3pm at Claremont Showground.

It’s part of the Wedding & Bride expo series that attracts thousands of couples, so it’s the kind of day where you can meet a lot of vendors in one hit.

If you haven’t already, give the expo a follow on social media too—especially in the lead-up, because they tend to share exhibitor highlights, updates, and reminders.

And follow me on:

  • Threads
  • Instagram
  • Facebook

…I’ll be doing live updates throughout the day, plus little behind-the-scenes moments (and yes, probably a few “busy expo feet” check-ins).

Tickets

You can grab your tickets to the event here: Wedding And Bride Bridal Expo

Expo-only offers (only for couples who attend)

1) “Win back” your wedding (yes, really)

If you book on the day (or within the week using the expo code you can only get by attending), you’ll go in the running to win back your wedding.

In other words: one lucky couple will essentially score a free celebrant + MC package for their special day.

No hard sell. Just a very fun reason to come say hi, check availability, and lock in a date if it feels right.

2) $100 off every ceremony booked from the expo

If you book from the expo, you’ll also get $100 off your ceremony.

Simple. Clear. Helpful.

“Come along, chat with me, see my vibe”

If you’re the type of couple who:

  • wants someone down-to-earth and organised,
  • wants a ceremony that feels warm, fun, and real (not stiff or overdone),
  • and wants a celebrant who can also MC and keep the day flowing…

…then let’s meet in person.

You’ll find me in the little pink Ready Set Love stall. Come say hi, grab a brochure, ask your questions, and have a look at what I actually offer.

I’ll also have:

  • samples of my handfasting cords (so you can see colours, textures, and options in real life)
  • wedding favour samples
  • and plenty of ideas if you’re still deciding what kind of ceremony you want (classic, relaxed, elopement-style, handfasting, renewal, blended family moments—whatever fits you).

My best “expo day” tips (so you don’t leave overwhelmed)

  1. Do one full lap first (quick scan, no stopping at every stall).
  2. Pick your top 5 priorities (celebrant/venue/photo often come first).
  3. Ask direct questions: availability, inclusions, and what’s actually involved.
  4. Take photos of things you love (setups, signage, flowers, gowns, styling).
  5. Come back for second chats once you’ve narrowed your shortlist.

And if you see me mid-chat, wave anyway—I’ll always make time for a quick hello and can book a proper follow-up.

See you at Claremont

If you want a relaxed, no-pressure way to meet a stack of great vendors in one place—and have a genuine chat with your potential celebrant—this is your sign.

Quick fine print (the boring but important bit)

Expo offers are expo-only, limited, and subject to availability. “Win back your wedding” is not redeemable for cash and will be provided as the equivalent celebrant/MC service value. Other terms/eligibility may apply.

Kate is a fun, friendly and down to earth celebrant based who mainly does ceremonies in the Great Southern & South West regions of Western Australia (however willing to travel anywhere in Australia!)
